Working with OPSS during your Placement

Our Placement programme is an exciting opportunity for university students heading into their final year of study to gain valuable hands-on experience working at the UKs national product regulator, with opportunities in teams in strategy and legal, policy, science and engineering, analysis and digital and stakeholder engagement.

You will be supported through the programme by a dedicated team that manage your experience in OPSS, as well as a task manager that sets and supports your work-based projects. There is also a structured learning and development package to enhance your practical skills (e.g. presenting confidently, writing effective communication) as well as widen your OPSS & regulatory knowledge.
